Franzi Lautenbach and her collaborators Lisa Musculus, Damian Jeraj, and Jonna Loeffler ranked 3rd at this year's Science Slam World Cup.
Anne-Marie Elbe and Theresa Manges' grant proposal for a project on doping prevention in young elite athletes was successful. The project will be funded by the Federal Institute of Sport Science from 1 January 2019 until 31 December 2021.
The article "The importance of cohesion and enjoyment for the fitness improvement of 8–10-year-old children participating in a team and individual sport school-based physical activity intervention" has received the 2017 Best Paper Award of the European Journal of Sport Science.
