Abstract
Juliane Heydenreich has been a professor of experimental sports nutrition at the Faculty of Sports Science at Leipzig University since 2023. She previously worked as an assistant professor for nutrition and sports at the Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz as well as at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd, the Swiss Federal Office of Sport (FOSPO) and at the University of Potsdam. She received her doctorate from the University of Lausanne in 2019. Her publications and research interests focus on the interplay between nutrition, exercise, and health in various populations. She is a member of the Sports Nutrition Working Group of the German Nutrition Society (DGE).
