In this section, you will find up-to-date information about the staff and the structure.
The chair of Movement & Training Science with the focus in Perception & Action - Department for Perception Science and Movement Arts (formerly the Institute of Movement and Training Science of Sports I - Department of Artistic Gymnastics, Gymnastics/Dance, and Martial Arts) is interested in investigating perceptual-cognitive processes, as well as understanding the progress in motor learning and synchronization processes between acting individuals in complex movement actions. The chair strives for strong transparency and integration of research work into teaching (Amsterdam Model), allowing students to engage in research-based learning. Structurally, the chair follows the content orientation, with the staff serving as the interface between research and teaching. This is achieved through intensive collaboration among the team members within the chair, joint projects, and inter-professorship networking.
